Student Led Conferences
As the academic year comes to an end Student Led Conferences are a good opportunity for our students to look back and reflect on what they have done over the course of the year. This is the chance for the students to consider what they excelled in, what challenged them and what surprised them. In addition to their academics the students will also reflect on their role in the school community and their citizenship.
The students will be presenting their portfolio to a panel that includes their teachers and parents/guardians on May 30/31.

Requirements:The Reflection will be broken down into two parts
Portfolio: For the portfolio the students will need to reflect on two items for each of the 9 subjects that they have. For each subject they will need to choose one assignment that they did well on and one that they struggled with. For each one they need to reflect on why they were successful/unsuccessful, what worked/did not work and what applications and skills they learned.
They will also need to discuss their citizenship at the school. Using the AISN Words to Live by (See Attached) they will choose one word that they think sums up their role or contribution at school this year and one word that sums up how they want to improve themselves for next year.
PowerPoint: For the PowerPoint they will need to choose one of the items for each subject and discuss it in more detail. They cannot only discuss items that they excelled in, they need to find a balance of both items they did well in and items they struggled with. They will also need to discuss their citizenship at the school.
